Graded reported 3,906 discoverable x402 services, of which 3,078 were callable through its gateway at its latest published probe.
TOLL·402 confirmed valid x402 requirements on 19,259 of 77,809 quote-testable canonical routes in its August snapshot; the edition did not claim paid-call verification.
Interpretation
Cumulative x402 activity is enormous relative to the number of services that independent probes can cleanly call. Machine Observer treats that disagreement as information rather than choosing one headline.
The purpose of this note is not to force unlike measurements into one number. It is to make the relationship between them explicit. Machine Observer will revise the interpretation when the underlying claims or source quality changes, while preserving timestamped observations in the history feed.
